Recovery through medical cannabis

At Greenhouse RVA, we offer structure and accountability in a monitored environment. Our house managers provide random drug testing and curfew inspections to ensure that our participants are staying on track with their recovery process. We also allow participants to consume cannabis in their recovery process from addiction as well as teach the participants how to grow, cultivate and harvest their own plant medicine. Virginia allows 4 plants to be grown per residence. We believe that enhancing your relationship to the plant through the growing process largely enhances your respect for and desired outcomes of your medicine. We understand that all people suffering from addiction are different. And this pathway isn’t going to be successful for everyone.

Greenhouse has:

• Mandatory meetings (both on and offsite)
• Groups
• Drug Testing
• A personalized recovery plan 
• Assigned chores
• Cookouts
• Planned activities and events
• And, of course, education on the process of growing medical cannabis!

We provide a safe, structured, and monitored environment for participants in all stages of their recovery process. 

Because participants are at all different stages of their recovery process, some rules are on a case by case basis. 

As a community organization, we understand the importance of building a strong support network around people in recovery from addiction. We are committed to providing a safe space for those who are struggling with addiction, helping them build community and become more self-sufficient.

We believe that cannabis use can be part of an effective opioid replacement therapy program—and it doesn't have to be as controversial as you might think. In fact, there are many benefits of cannabis that make it an ideal choice for treating pain and other symptoms associated with opioid withdrawal.

We also believe that cannabis can help combat the opioid epidemic by reducing dependence on dangerous prescription drugs and allowing patients to take control of their own health care decisions. With our help, you can learn how to incorporate cannabis into your treatment plan so that you can begin living a life free from addiction!

We assist participants while they go through the detox process. We have established relationships with local addiction specialist professionals who can prescribe appropriate detox meds. We assist in appointment scheduling and transportation as well. Each participant's level of care is determined on a case by case basis.
